The first-ever North American exhibit of Downton Abbey costumes will be held in Canada in Toronto at the Spadina Museum.
The Spadina Museum, which tells the story of Toronto in the 1920s and 1930s, has rented 20 of the costumes in order to bring them to North America and put them on exhibit for a very short while, from March 11 to April 13, 2014.
If you visit, you will see select pieces of clothing from those worn by the Dowager Countess of Grantham and Lord Grantham to that worn by the servants. You will also be treated to a Downton Abbey-themed tour of the house and for an additional fee you can add a cream tea onto your visit, too. How exciting!
The Spadina Museum is expecting fans of the series and of the history of the times to visit. Will you be amongst them?
See you
at the movies!
Brenda
