Then I read this morning's Ottawa Citizen in which Jay Stone's headline screams: "Feeling the RUSH. Ron Howard's electrifying car-racing film might just be the best one ever made."
And then I saw the trailer...
And then I became interested in seeing Rush.
As the tagline says, Rush is based on a true story. Set in the 1970s, it is the story of Formula One drivers James Hunt and Niki Lauda. The movie is directed by Ron Howard and stars Chris Hemsworth, Daniel Bruhl and Olivia Wilde.
Driving.ca says that “some liberties were taken…but by and
large what you see is how it was four decades ago between the two drivers…that it
is an accurate portrayal of the men’s complicated relationship.”
It looks like Rush is an action movie with a moving story, too.
Is Rush on your radar? If it is be sure to come back and let us know if you think Rush is the best car-racing movie ever.
See you
at the movies!
Brenda
